How Does Surcharging Work On The Click To Pay Link -


Accessing Invoice Details from the Dashboard:

  • Navigate to the Invoice tab on your dashboard.


  • Click on a specific invoice number to view the details of that invoice. 


 

Viewing the Invoice Details:

  • Once you access the invoice, you'll see the invoice details page.
  • Preview Invoice Page: This shows what the customer will see when they receive the invoice via email. This preview can include all line items, taxes, and payment options.


  

 How Payment Methods Affect the Total:

  • Debit Card Payment: If the customer uses a debit card to pay, no surcharges will be added to the total invoice amount.
  • Credit Card Payment: If a credit card is used, a surcharge will be added to the total. This is a common fee for credit card transactions.



Customer Notification About the Surcharge:

  • When a credit card is entered, a warning will appear informing the customer that a surcharge will be added to the total. This ensures the customer is aware of the additional fee before finalizing the payment.
