The connection of Chargezoom to Quickbooks allows for a 2-way sync, which means that not only does Quickbooks send information to Chargezoom, but Quickbooks also receives information from Chargezoom so the two are always on the same page. The following information is what is passed between the two platforms:
Customers and their contact information: You have the flexibility to create customers and their contact information in either QuickBooks or Chargezoom if you are on our Plus plan. Otherwise, you will need to create your customers in Quickbooks. The information you enter will automatically sync to the other platform, ensuring consistency.
Products and Services: You have the flexibility to create products and services in either QuickBooks or Chargezoom if you are on our Plus plan. Otherwise, you will need to create your customers in Quickbooks. The information you enter will automatically sync to the other platform, ensuring consistency.
Invoices: Invoices: You have the flexibility to create invoices in either QuickBooks or Chargezoom if you are on our Plus Plan. Otherwise, you will need to create your invoices in Quickbooks. The information you enter will automatically sync to the other platform, ensuring consistency.
Taxes: By default, Chargezoom uses the tax settings you've configured in QuickBooks. Whether you do or do not have taxes setup in QuickBooks, those settings will be reflected in your Chargezoom account.
Payment Terms: The payment terms displayed in Chargezoom match the settings you've configured in QuickBooks, you can add and edit payment terms in Chargezoom as well.
Payment Methods: When a customer pays an invoice through Chargezoom, the payment type (e.g., Credit Card type or E Check) and the last four digits of the card or bank account used will be displayed in QuickBooks for easy tracking.
